Meet Kathy Munshi

Kathy is the heartbeat of the company and keeps the brokerage running as smoothly as they do! She has been in the business for 34 years and has won the prestigious Service Excellence award, the highest honour award given by RE/MAX Realty Specialists Inc. as well as the Hall of Fame Award during her career.

What Kathy loves most about real estate is helping people achieve their dream of owning a home. And, what she loves most about RE/MAX Realty Specialists is the longevity and loyalty of the Salespeople, Leadership Team and Staff plus the long term relationships that have been established. Kathy is the best in the business in her field. She is very organized, hard working and loyal with very strong family values. Kathy is an extremely helpful person who will help anyone any time, not to mention she is an excellent listener! As part of her role, Kathy ensures all files are complete with RECO and FINTRAC and ensures the agents are compliant and avoids fines or an interruption in their business.

Before getting into real estate, Kathy worked in the finance department for multiple companies. She grew up in Etobicoke and is a big fan of murder mysteries, waking up early and enjoying her coffee outdoors. Travelling to India was the best vacation she took. It was such an interesting country, with a very different culture and delicious food!

Kathy’s best piece of advice for agents is to listen to your clients and understand what they are feeling and needing, always provide honest advice and if you do not know the answer, then provide resources to enable the client and yourself to find the answer. Unfortunately people outside the industry believe that selling real estate is an easy way to earn a good living. What they do not know about is the multiple times that the hard work put in does not lead to fruition and that a salesperson can go for months without earning a pay cheque or knowing where their next client will come from.
