Meet Natalie Weed
Natalie started her career in politics, working in Ottawa for the Prime Minister of Canada and working closely in the Ontario Legislature with Tim Hudak.
Following a shift in career ambitions, Natalie obtained her real estate license and started selling real estate, later obtaining her broker license. Natalie’s parents both having been realtors at one point in their career, welcomed the change.
Natalie has worked in various positions in real estate, including her past role as a broker-manager in Georgetown.
Natalie has also worked in corporate real estate for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), working on large acquisitions like the Airway Centre and the International Centre. Working closely with commercial real estate partners and commercial tenants.
Following having a colourful real estate career and a passion for communications, Natalie started a podcast called “Real Estate Chat With Nat“. The podcast interviews industry professionals and shares information that is engaging for both real estate professionals and consumers.
Natalie also runs a Muskoka Airbnb, obtaining Superhost status for two consecutive years. Natalie has learned the art of property management and the ins and outs of running short term rentals as a small business. Natalie has also had to navigate the complex world short term rental bylaws and can help other realtors get their own short term rentals developed from the idea phase to implementation.
Natalie has a young family, and loves to travel, horseback ride and watersports.
